Location: Cheesedale boulders, Nowra
Time: 4:00pm - 8:00pm -
There will be temporary glow stick markers placed to guide your approach on the night.
Park along the eastern side of Sutherland Drive, North Nowra.
Head east on the trail that runs alongside the fence line, follow path until it bends.
Stay on this path until you cross a small stream.
Immediately after the stream, take the first right into a small opening in the scrub. Follow this down.
You'll hit a rocky edge - it gets slippery after rain so take your time.
On the left side there's a squeeze under the rock that lets you avoid climbing down.
Follow the cliff wall from there. You have made it to the session.
-
While you do not need to bring anything except yourself, climbing shoes and chalk.
Majority of the session will take place at night. We’ll be bringing Floodlights and other gear to help light up the area, but we strongly encourage attendees to bring their own head torch or torch if they have one.
Though parts of the crag will be lit up, we still ask everyone to take extra care of their surroundings for their own safety. -
MAIN PARKING -Street parking along the eastern side of Sutherland Drive, North Nowra
Sutherland Drive offers a good amount of street parking. As it is a residential street, please be courteous of the surrounding area. Carpooling is recommended — DM either@caviarclimbing or @uowclimbers and we’ll help organise a lift.
Please be considerate of the families around the area, keep the volume down on your way in and out!
