The climbing season is upon us! Bring your friends, bring your pads and ascend with us.

This year, we are super excited to announce the Ascension Sessions are supported by @arcteryxausnz. Join us for an all-inclusive session with goodies, prizes and drinks provided on the day!

EVENT DETAILS

  • Date: Saturday 2nd May 2026
    Location: Creekside Boulders, Nowra
    Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm

  • There will be temporary pink markers placed to guide your approach on the day.

    1. Park in the public carpark of Shoalhaven City Lanes & Aldi , 52 Narang Rd, Bomaderry

    2. Where you see two power poles. Follow the trail and power lines past the gategoing parallel with the highway.

    3. Take right into bush at second singular power pole, leading to Creek Side Upper.

    4. There is a slope below the 'classy' boulder which leads to Creek Side Lower.

    5. Follow this slope down to the Creek Side Lower.

    6. You have made it to the session.


  • MAIN PARKING -The public carpark of Shoalhaven City Lanes & Aldi , 52 Narang Rd, Bomaderry.

    Although this carpark can accommodate multiple cars.Carpooling is still recommended — DM either @caviarclimbing or @uowclimbers andwe’ll help organise a lift.

  • Creekside boulders is another nowra crag with a short approach. The routes range from V0 to V13 with drop off top-outs and good landings, with great boulders for both beginner and advanced climbers. The crag is split into upper and lower this session will be held at the lower boulders

  • In the event of rain, we will convene at Lot 33. Although If sandstone is heavily seeped, we will relocate to The Nest, Nowra. Stay tuned for more details.
